Is my property suitable for solar panels?+
Roof direction, shading, usable area, roof condition and energy consumption all affect the answer. We assess the property and design around the available space; on-roof, in-roof, flat-roof ballasted and ground-mounted systems are all possible.
Can I install battery storage without solar panels?+
Yes. A battery can charge from the grid during lower-cost off-peak periods and supply the property when electricity is more expensive. We will check whether this approach suits your usage and tariff.
Which battery and inverter brands do you install?+
Our product options include Tesla Powerwall, SolaX, Duracell Energy, EcoFlow PowerOcean and Sigenergy. We recommend the system that best fits the property and brief rather than forcing every customer into one product.
Are you MCS certified and NICEIC approved?+
Yes. WH Renewables is MCS certified and a NICEIC Approved Contractor. Relevant manufacturer installer approvals are also displayed on the website.
Do you work on commercial projects?+
Yes. We work with businesses, commercial property owners and developers, including larger solar installations and renewable-energy requirements for new-build projects.
Will I be able to monitor my system?+
Most modern solar, battery and EV charging systems provide app-based monitoring. We commission the system and help you understand the information available.
Do solar panels need servicing?+
Solar systems have relatively low maintenance needs, but periodic checks can identify faults, communication issues, damage or reduced performance. We provide tailored servicing, cleaning and bird-protection options.
